Ashdod Port Visitor Center got a Silver Plaque at INTERCOM 2012

Posted by Steve

I’m very proud to announce that the Ashdod Port Visitor Center got a Silver Plaque in the category “Visitor Center” at INTERCOM 2012, part of the Chicago International Film Festival.

Produced by JCS ID and directed by Oded Avraham, this was a very special project. Most of the center is based on special movie projections that I have edited. I will soon create a special post about it in my demo reel section under the “offline editing” category but I wanted to share the good news with you before. Until then, have a look at the photo gallery of the movies below.

About INTERCOM

Founded in 1964, INTERCOM is one of the longest-running international competitions of its kind. Designed to recognize the incredible creativity found in the non-theatrical dimensions of filmmaking, INTERCOM honors a wide range of corporate-sponsored, educational, and branded films and has grown to include extraordinary achievements in the rapidly evolving field of Web-based communications.

Each year we assemble panels of distinguished media professionals to judge our competitive categories. The top awards will be presented at the Awards Night Gala of the Chicago International Film Festival and select winners will be screened as part of the Festival’s “Best of Fest” programming.

The list of all the winners can be found here: http://www.cinemachicago.org/intercom/winners.php?year=2012
