[WWDC 2014] The Apple Design Award winners include Device 6, Monument Valley & More…

WWDC, Apple’s annual developers conference,  just kicked off yesterday with a lot of announcement, introducing the next major release of iOS and OSX, iOS 8 & Yosemite respectively and a lot of new technologies for developers. At the same time, Apple also unveiled the winners of the Apple Design Awards 2014 with some really great software. Get my favorites and the full list.

There’s a lot of good apps on iOS these days but some are just awesome and unique. My favorite apps this year are without any doubt Device 6 & Monument Valley. Both are ingenious, inventive, creative and immersive. It seems like Apple thinks the same about them as they earn a well-deserved Apple Design Award.

Do yourself a favor: watch the trailers of each app, click the links to the AppStore and treat yourself with some of the best games around. You won’t regret it!

The full list of 2014 winners follows the trailers and the grey texts are quotes from the developer’s description.
