Since the early days of the iPad, we all dreamed to use it has a surface controller for our daily work. The interface being able to morph into anything, it wasn’t so hard to think of shuttle, Steinbeck decks, sliders and shortcuts. The New iMac can have its memory (RAM) upgraded and it’s easy. [with video]

The new iMacs have an awesome design but upgrading their memory (RAM) looks to be tricking. Fear not, from the recent iFixit teardown of the 21.5-inch iMac revealed, we learn that you’ll have to unglue your display if you want to swap out your hard drive or add more RAM but it’s a piece of cake on the bigger, 27-inch iMacs.

iTunes 11 will get back the missing duplicate song detection but Cover Flow won’t return.

As part of his favorable review of iTunes 11, Walt Mossberg noted that Apple commented on two particular features it took out of iTunes 11.

Fans of iTunes will notice some omissions and flaws. The long-touted Cover Flow carousel of album covers has been dumped. The company says it found too few users considered it useful. A feature that finds duplicate entries is missing. Apple says it will soon be restored in a minor update of the program.

I’ve never was a big fan of Cover Flow on iTunes or the Finder, so I won’t miss it. What about you? You can comment and add your thinkings in the comments bellow.

[Rumor] Apple might bring Siri and Maps into Mac OS X 10.9
