Once again, Blackmagic Design steal the show at NAB 2014 and introduced a lot of new product. Amount them, one of the most significant announcement was the version 11 of their grading solution: DaVinci Resolve. Get my TOP 7 of new and updated features after the jump.

After a couple months of public beta, Blackmagic Design released last weekend the final version of DaVinci Resolve 10. I think it is now the time to have an in depth look at all the changes and improvements that their made to the mapping of the wonderful Element control surface from Tangent.

NAB 2013 – In-depth review of the new CineAlta Sony F55
Sony announced a few months ago its new line of 4k cameras: the F5 & the F55 along to the new AXVC codec for editing the footage in post. Apple updated a few days ago Final Cut Pro X with support for this new codecs and the workflow is finally here to create 4k movies and feed all this new Ultra HD televisions sets on the market with the use of H.265 compression.

ProCutX is a new iPad surface controller for Final Cut Pro X
Since the early days of the iPad, we all dreamed to use it has a surface controller for our daily work. The interface being able to morph into anything, it wasn’t so hard to think of shuttle, Steinbeck decks, sliders and shortcuts.
