[NAB 2013] Ahead of NAB 2013, Apple releases updated version to Final Cut Pro X, Motion & Compressor
Paving the way to the big marketing push for NAB 2013, Apple released today the 8th release of Final Cut Pro X and added once again some significant features. Motion & Compressor join also the party with some updates of their own. The full details after the jump.
Apple updates Final Cut Pro X to 10.0.7, Motion to 5.0.6 & Compressor to 4.0.6
Only a few weeks after updating Final Cut Pro X to 10.0.6, Apple updates once again Final Cut Pro X with a maintenance & bug fix release.

Noise Industries releases FxFactory 4.0 for Adobe Premiere Pro & Final Cut Pro X
New plugin platform available for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6
Noise Industries announced today that visual plugin platform FxFactory 4 is now available. The new update supports Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, as well as Final Cut Pro 7 & 10, Motion, and Adobe After Effects. FxFactory 4 is a video toolbox with a number of plugins for video stylization, color correction, stills animation, keying, stereoscopic 3D, tilting, and more.
Final Cut Pro X updated to 10.0.6 (Motion & Compressor too)
After a few months, Apple updated once again Final Cut Pro X to its 7th release and added some significant features.
The most prominent features:
- support for RED footage including native RECODE Raw editing
- unified import window for file-based & tape-based footage
- MXF plug-in support that allows you to work natively with MXF files from import through delivery using third-party plug-ins
- an improved “share” menu customizable by users
- dual viewers
- ability to precisely edit individual audio channels directly in the timeline.
