[Rumor] Apple might bring Siri and Maps into Mac OS X 10.9
Here we go again. We just finished to install OS X 10.8 (aka Mountain Lion) on our Macs that the first tidbits about the next release of the OS appears on 9to5mac. They claim, according to their sources, that OS X 10.9 will bring Siri and Maps to the Mac, making the Mac & iOS more alike with each respective OS release.
After OS X 10.8 that brought Dictation to the Mac, Apple is rumored to add the full Siri to the Mac in OS X 10.9 in the same way they brought Siri to iPad in iOS 6 after they first included Dictation in iOS 5.
Apple is also supposed to work on a new map framework for developers that should potentially bring the full Maps experience to mac users and improves geotag in currents apps. No word if Apple will release a Maps app along the framework.
Now that OS X 10.9 has already appeared in certain log’s website, I’m sure we will get more and more informations about this new release in the coming weeks.
