Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator CS6 finally get Retina support with latest update

The Mac version of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator CS6 get support for Retina displays for the MacBook Pro 13″ & 15″ with their latest update.

According to Gizmodo’s Jesus Diaz, the new version of Photoshop actually knows the relative resolution of your screen, and changes things accordingly. That’s pretty slick. Calling this a “must-have upgrade” for Apple’s laptops’s owners, Diaz notes that icons and palette text is now ultra sharp and defined.

The release note from Adobe details the following improvements:

The Adobe Photoshop 13.0.1 update includes many critical fixes improving security, stability and performance while also addressing a number of high priority bugs with 3D, Crop, Type, Painting, Paths, and Shapes.

The update is available at Adobe’s website or via Adobe Software Update.
