VESA Introduces DisplayPort Dual-Mode 1.1 standard compatible with 4K HDMI (Ultra HD)
VESA gives computers the possibility to join the 4k dance like all television manufacturers and reduce cable clutter by introducing a new update to DisplayPort Dual-Mode.
The H.265 video format got approved by ITU, making 4K for all a close reality.
Only months after the MPEG (Motion Picture Experts Group) proposed it, ITU (International Telecommunication Union) approved the new H.265 video format.
